18th-century New York red stained walnut chest of drawers. At the top is a pleated fan carving with two flanking drawers. Below are four graduated full drawers and brasses. Eliza Jumel purchased the center section as a chest of drawers, which in actuality was part of an an 18th-century high chest of drawers (missing parts remodeled in grey).
Brass andirons with double lemon tops with cabriole legs supported on ball feet. Inscribed, “Formerly the Property of Benjamin Franklin. Purchased from the Estate of Madame Jumel”
Inkstand with wooden base supported by brass winged ball-and-claw feet with sander, ink well, and pen holder and acorn finials on lids.
