The annual Morris-Jumel Mansion George Washington Dinner commemorates the 1790 dinner hosted by Washington for members of his Cabinet at the Mansion, but this year it also holds special meaning. September 2026 marks the 250th anniversary of the Battle of Harlem Heights, the first victory for the Patriots and a major boost for the Continental Army, during which the Mansion served as the headquarters for General George Washington.
