For 259 years the Morris-Jumel Mansion has witnessed history and hauntings, and on Saturday, December 14 you can enjoy a special after-dark event to investigate the spirit and the spirits of the house. Tickets are limited!

This expanded version of our always sold-out paranormal experience will raise much-needed funds while offering unique access to explore and investigate the period rooms, nooks and crannies of the Mansion for paranormal activity using electro-magnetic detectors, dousing rods, and other equipment. Special activities will include tarot card readings and history-inspired snacks and beverages.

The date is special, too: December 14 is the date of death of George Washington, who resided in MJM during the American Revolution and hosted his cabinet for a dinner on site in 1790. Will his spirit join us? Or the ghosts of past occupants: Hessian soldiers, who lived and died on site, Madame Jumel herself, her husband Aaron Burr, or a purported past murderess?

Join us to explore the “spirit” of MJM while providing support for this historic treasure.

This event is for guests aged 21+.
