NOTE: As rain is not expected, this event will take place on Morris-Jumel Mansion’s bluestone patio. Morris-Jumel Mansion, in partnership with the Writing the Land project, will host a special outdoor poetry reading in the park, located on the unceded territory of the Lenape Nation. Featured readers will include poets who were commissioned to write about the Mansion and its grounds for the upcoming 2023 Writing the Land Anthology, and special community guest poets from 1 PM to 3 PM.

Following this program, there will be a one-hour open mic poetry session from 3 PM – 4 PM.
